Biodegradable bag/compostable

Fabricated from biodegradable compost able foil made from modified corn wheat and potato starch. The material is certified as being in accordance with UE norm - EN13432:2000. It has a DIN CERTCO certificate.

In European Union, in order to confirm that packages are able to be organically recycled - compost, a norm EN13432:2000 that is harmonized with the directive 94/62/EC obliges. Because of complex procedures connected with the assessment of package material, lead in the range of biodegradability, and later in the range of composting, systems of products certification were introduced.

Authorization to use such sign results from the DIN CERTCO certificate. In Poland, authorization from DIN CERTCO to do the certification of products achieved, authorized by PCA, Certification Centre located in Polish Packaging Research and Development Centre in Warsaw. Polish version of the sign informing that packaging is biodegradable and compost able (achieved DIN CERTCO certificate) In accordance with the agreement between DIN CERTCO and PPRDC (Polish Packaging Research and Development Centre), the Polish version of the sign has a Polish inscription "compost able".

Oxi-biodegradable bag

Fabricated from polyethylene with a degradable addition (biodegradable masterbatches). This addition is not based on organic ingredients but non-toxic ones that speeds up the polymer disintegration process. Contained substances cause the foil degradation into dust.

The product fulfils many various norms, however it not fulfil EN13432 European Norm, ASTMD640 American Norm and BPS GREENPLA Japanese Norm.
